About me, Jo Bregazzi-
Founder and Trainer

Hi, I’m Jo Bregazzi, the founder and lead trainer at Jo Bregazzi and The SKARBLEND® Academy, where I specialise in training, mentoring and empowering new practitioners with new skills, that I have researched, trialled, tested and developed over the last 14 years.

I’m an experienced registered nurse, qualified and licensed medical tattooist, permanent makeup practitioner, artist, designer and qualified lecturer.

I'm registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, ensuring patient safety.

My story

Before I started my career in paramedical tattooing, I was a nurse working intense, emotionally demanding shifts. I was exhausted. Burnt out. I barely saw my family, and deep down, I was dreaming of something more—something that gave me both freedom and purpose.

I spent months stuck in analysis paralysis—bouncing business ideas off my family, trying to figure out a way out of my long shifts and daily grind. I didn’t know where to begin. The more time passed, the more desperate I became to create a life where I had control over my hours, my income, and my impact.

Then one day, I saw other nurses and beauty professionals on Instagram turning their skills into businesses. That was my turning point. I thought, “If they can do it—so can I.”

I trained properly. I practiced daily. I faced every fear that came with being on my own. And slowly, I built the business I had once only dreamed about.

I know how it feels to be nervous. To doubt your ability. To wonder if anyone will book. I was you. And that’s why I created The SKARBLEND® Academy—so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
